Upgraded speedometer and gauges Bashan Enforcer

And my new upgraded gauges work. Took me all day to finish the install since I had to build 2 custom brackets to make it work. I have to install the magnets tomorrow morning so that the odometer and mph works.

Nice job. Is that a particular brand, or a universal "budget friendly" cluster?

It's a Chinese special just like the rest of the bike.

Those are Honda knock offs. My CB500X has the same display.

Well, let's see if this one withstands the test of time and weather. That has always been the downfall of most cheaper gauge setups.

If the Storm has the same basic wiring as a Hawk, then there should be a way to get the gear indicators working as well.

The gear indicators work just fine. I know in the video it looks as though they don't all light. That is not the case though in practice. Since I am in Vegas, there will not be much chance for rain to get at it. Also, it is garage kept except when I am at work or out.

Time will tell but I am very happy with it right now.

Skiforce, do you have a link to the cluster?

I have the same speedo installed in my Bashan Storm. For future references - that speedometer comes in several models including a 10,000 rpm and 13,000 rpm model. The 10,000 rpm model would be better for these engines which will never get near 13,000 rpm. There are also differences in the icons at the top - I have seen models with 4 gears and a check engine light - so be careful what you order. I ordered mine from Aliexpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Moto...311.0.0.Otpvyz
It came with a axle mounted sensor as well as the 2 magnet and threaded sensor designed to attach to the disk rotor. The axle mount did not fit the storm wheel, though I think it would fit the Hawk. The axle hole is the correct size, but the slots don't match. However, the threaded hall effect sensor was the same size as the speedo cable hole in the analog sensor on the Storm. I threaded the speedo hole using a tap and screwed in the hall effect into the original speedo sensor. I ground down the gear on opposite sides and jb welded 2 rare earth magnets to the gear. It works. The tap is 12 x 1.25. I ordered the TT250 gear indicator switch from CSC which fits the storm. There is no gas sensor, so I ran the fuel lamp to ground, so the cluster shows a full tank rather than flashing empty. My unit came with zero instructions. To set the wheel size, hold down the left button then turn the key to the on position, which should bring you to the settings screen. The first three numbers are the wheel size. I am still dialing in the correct size, 024 is close. The forth number is the ohms for the fuel sensor, I set it to 5, but I have no sensor. The last number is for the rpm - it is either cylinder, or stroke. I set it to 2 and it seems to run the correct rpm.

where does the gear position sensor go on the Storm?
