Alinement and Camber.. Heres a thread,

Ok alinement and camber is not right from the factory.. I played with it.. took a handle bar to the gut a few times.. I guessed after that... I needed help:hmm:

So I looked until I found this.. lots of crap but this is simple..

Ok here is my issue... The ball joints on my quad do NOT have nuts to adjust them up or down... one tire is pretty darn close other one is way off. I am trying to figure out what is different, what is wrong. how to get this tire to lay down.. the tire is straight up and down...>:( really having a hooking problem with it after the slightly longer shocks on it,,,
any ideas?

Thank you for posting this. I just put shocks on that dropped the rhino down about 2 inches and had to adjust toe and camber on it. Sorry, no ideas to help you but I will check on link to see if i need to re adjust something!

how did you adjust the camber.. Am I missing something? Is there lock nuts on your quad to adjust them??

The camber on my Rhino (250D with fancy plastics) is set by adjusting the upper ball joints. You can see in the attached pic that there's two large nuts on the upper ball joint that allow you to adjust the inward or outward tilt of the wheel. Toe is adjustable by the tie rod ends. I used a level to adjust the camber evenly, side to side. I set mine slightly negative. (barely tilting inward) and I set my toe at 1/2" negative.
There is no caster adjustment as the control arms are fixed in position.
