Ohio Hellcat?
Buying a new Hellcat 125 Grom clone. Have not seen anything on Ohio title and registration issues reading through the threads. I am hoping that means it will be a smooth process getting a clean new title made, then registration and a plate. Q9 Powersports said they mail a notarized MCO for the bike and you will also have the Bill Of Sale showing the amount paid for calculating the tax due. Does not appear any vehicle inspection is necessary. Anyone in Ohio done this process? Any problems?

Shouldn't be any different than the hawk or tbr's and there are a handful of riders on here with them. Maybe Oneleggedrider can give you some advice, hes done a few.

Not a bit of trouble in Ohio because RPS was already in there system, but all of our bikes came from TXpowersports. Insurance was a little bit more of an issue because RPS wasn't in their system, but eventually we got it squared away.

The Hellcat is 50 state EPA/DOT legal and CARB legal for California (rare thing for Chinese motorcycles). I am guessing there must surely be others who have successfully registered and titled one in Ohio.

Was able to get a very nice lady on the phone at the BMV last week. She said should not be a problem. Just to bring in the MSO and a Bill-of-Sale. :)
