ZS169FMM engine parts needed
 

New here. I picked up a project bike with a this 250cc engine that needs to be rebuilt and missing some stuff. I know its a copy of the crf230 engine. Surprised that its this hard to find parts.

I can find plenty for the pushrod versions but not much on the OHV version.

Main things I'll need is a piston w/ rings, cam sprocket, cam chain tnesioner, and gasket set. Havent fully dissasembled it yet since itll be a winter project.

Ebay and alixpress arent pulling up much.

Measure it 1st. Some 169FMM (17 pin) is 65.5mm (15 pin) !!!

Mines the 15mm pin.

I got 65.5 b x 65.5 s. Did the best i could on getting the stroke without a piston.

Anyways that 1-stop shop https://cqgty.taobao.com/category-646423428.htm had what u need...They even had higher quality PVD rings :tup:

I placed add in local buy & sell, got complete engine & frame for $70 , take the parts off that as I need them,much quicker & cheaper way to get parts,provided parts are within service limit.
I've got all my 169 parts off ebay no drama, occasionally if I'm in a hurry or desperate ill use Honda crf230 parts but its $$

US ebay doesnt have much on the vertical china engines, especially this model. Guess I'll go to UK ebay and see whats going on over there.
