BMS has an enduro

The brand BMS used to go nearly head-to-head with SSR Motorsports in product offering; SSR took off with pit bikes whereas BMS went with 1000cc+ buggies, and full-size UTVs. They both used to offer near-identical rebranded Znen scooters. I just noticed that BMS now lists a '250' (err 229cc) enduro; I stumbled upon it from the EPA/DOT certification list--Bashan has it listed and certified among their Brozz, Storm, Shark, etc. bikes. In other words, it is Bashan-made, so should offer the same high-quality build and performance of the various Bashan bikes. Yes, us Californians need not apply... :( (it is 49-state EPA/DOT approved for the rest of you, like the Bashan lineup)

Nice find, looks good. Don't see the enduro model in the parts drop down yet but is promising. Parts are always a key issue with these things. Looks committed at least for a little while for the American market

Isn't it nice to see what the folks in the real world get to buy? ;-)

Sad but true.

Zongshen engine with "Special racer technology optimized crankshaft and piston for optimal performance"

Ooooo, it's too bad I'm broke at the moment or I might have a BMS (or a CSC) bike on the way :D

I emailed the North (and South?) American rep for Bashan who I had befriended on another forum when he was doing marketing research on what members thought of the Brozz before those were brought in to the US. I asked him about the possibility of Bashan and/or BMS CARB certifying the CRP 250 for California. He said that BMS themselves are in the process of certifying their own CRP 250 for California; Bashan did not want to add more cost per bike so did not send in their own branded bikes for the certificate. It looks like sometime in 2019, CSC's TT250 will have competition here in California in the Chinese enduro category, lol. He did mention in the email that Bashan are in the process of EPA/CARB certifying 2 different 150cc street bikes; I emailed him back to see if they are GLVs, or 'Grom-like-vehicles' but haven't heard back. I couldn't imagine they would bother to bring in a full-size 150cc motorcycle, but will have to wait for his email to confirm if they are minis.

Thanks for the info culcune. We both know it's just a matter of time until other Hondoids are available to be plated here. If a small company like CSC can do it, so can others. It's a HUGE market and at the moment, people have some spendable cash.

The GLV's seem to have done well here. i think So Cal is a good place for them due to how condensed the area is.

Well, the Bashan 150cc bike currently going through EPA/DOT and CARB testing is NOT a mini in the GLV class, but is, in fact a full-size bike. Nice styling, great for beginners, but limited to more urban riding due to heavy traffic (read--slow).
