Who is FAST with sending the MSO&BOS?

*** IMPORTANT EDIT: I need this delivered to my door, so some companys that require it being picked up at a dock are out. ***
Like the title says.
Who has ordered a bike / scooter in the fairly recent past,
and had both the bike / scooter AND the Manufacturers Certificate of Origin AND the signed bill of sale within 3 weeks of placing the order?
.
We have a very, very large group ride coming up in 5 weeks
and I need to acquire a 55 MPH capable scooter, set up , licensed / insured, ready to go in LESS than 5 weeks. Will have to break it in the hard way.
( install new fuel & vacuum hoses, change all fluids, run it easy for 20 miles, change oil again, run it medium 3/4 throttle for 25 miles, change oil again, then balls to the wall from there on! )
.
I am choking at paying $2k for a Honda PCX150 with 17,000 miles on it, or $3k for a new one, when I already have 2 other bikes and a 45 MPH scooter allready!

Search your regional Craigslist postings for a used SYM 200. Several have completed Scooter Cannonballs.

Superior Power Sports took about 6-8 weeks total to get my pink and tags....but here in CA, by law, they have to do all the DMV work for you. Seems Barlow got faster service.

Well, that is comforting to hear. Because they have had my attention
for the last 2 weeks. I would like to go with the liquid cooled 250cc,
but have some concerns over reliability of those engines.
On the other hand, the GY6 has proven to be a good solid motor,
and easily 55+ MPH capable when tuned right.
---- sighs ----
I know I have to do something, and quick.
At the moment, this is the two I seem to be most fond of
( though they are drastically different! LOL )

Not much price difference. Like I said, just unsure of the 250cc
liquid cooled engine.

I ordered from q9powersports. Placed order on Sunday, received bike 4 days later. MCO took 3 weeks, but I was a little delayed in in sending the request on my end, so really only two weeks. Great communication throughout the process.

Also, they have the hawk for 1349 shipped to your house. They don't have a huge selection, but do have several 150cc scooters.

Do Not order from killer motor sports. Had lots of problems with them......nuff said

I PM'd you on who I think will get you a super-quick MCO, but that is if you want a Taotao scooter.

Louis Angel 03-13-2016 03:19 PM

thanks :-)

FIRST THINGS FIRST:
I want to say THANK YOU to all who have helped on this
matter. I have found myself in a crossroad.
I can not see giving $1400 for a 10HP Chinese touring scooter.
Nor can I see paying $1900 shipped for a 250cc Chinese scooter.
So a basic " El'Cheap-o scooter " would have to suffice.
Knowing I will be maxed out at 50 MPH and be bringing up the rear of the pack. It is $950 shipped to my door.

.
BUT, NOW, I am thinking about going ahead and spending the extra
hard earned cash ( damn near double the price! )
and just getting a PCX that I found a deal on this afternoon with a
dealership I never knew existed some 62 miles away from me.

.
I hate making decisions when it comes to my OWN money.

Just remember, mail order can have a delayed MCO--weeks, even. A brick and mortar dealer can register your bike that day, although you will have to wait for your plate and title, you will be legal to ride that day! Did you call who I told you to call?

Louis Angel 03-15-2016 12:30 PM

I looked on their website, but seen nothing in stock of interest to call them about right away. However, if I go with the entry level 150cc china scoot, I promise I will give them a call before I buy anything. :-)
