Hawk Dealers in central Indiana??

Hello. I've been watching YouTube vids and reading about the hawk 250 quite a bit lately. I'm about 90% convinced I need to get one, but would like to see one in person first. All the local dealers seem to want to carry are scooters and 4 wheelers sadly.

Also, is it a pretty straight forward plating process in Indiana? I have read that the newest hawks are NOT street legal......but that's the internet

I don't know of any in the state I ordered mine from motobuys 3 years ago. Plating was straight forward only extra you have to do is the police inspection about 5 bucks. I have about 7,000 miles on mine no big problems. The old ones aren't "street" either as long as the mco says motorcycle instead of dirt bike it's fine

OK thanks. After reading some of the horror stories I had some concerns. Seems strange that the moped dealers don't want to mess with the enduros, I would think they would sell pretty well at the prices listed.

I like that! It’s not “I want one” it’s “I NEED” one”! Oh yeah! It’s Hawk Time!

 yep, I even convinced the wife I needed it!!

Motobuys was the one I was going to order through. They good to work with?

Motobuys are iffy. The problem is they rename their bikes so you never really know what you're getting. They show two or three Hawks listed with different prices and names the last time I looked. I recall a few members having difficulty with them with MCOs as well. I would suggest to consider Superiorpowersports or Powersportsmax over Motobuys. If none sound good, the guy who repped for RPS and was a member here (he has since left RPS and here lol) used to personally vouche for Q9 powersports for the Hawk. Even without him around I seem to recall a few members vouching for them. As far as street legality goes...these have only been EPA certified as off-road motorcycles for years. With a massive, nationwide catch-22 of sorts, they have been plated in well over half the states.

Thanks for the info on suppliers. Was just checking out q9motorsports. They seem like they may be the best option so far.
