While I never owned an AJS, I had friends (some now deceased) who did, not for the faint of heart:

I wonder if someone bought the AJS name and stuck it on a China bike. It looks like a decent bike, though.

If you look through the entire line it appears the AJS name has been liberally applied to select Chinese made motorcycles/scooters.

Note to self:

Get pith helmet for motorcycle riding.

Took alot more man to ride that bike with 2" of travel than today's rides.

Just imagine the reaction you would get rocking up to an AJS club ride on your shiney new Chinese bike 8O
