To Chicago and Back
 

Took the Ural and arterial streets into the city to visit with one of my best friends. Also to if he had any extra bike parts laying around for my French track bike. He did.

About a hundred miles all told. It warmed up enough on the way in so that I had to turn down the heated grips. Had to turn them up a bit on the way home with the sun starting its' downward journey.

The right clothes make all the difference.

I think the right clothes for the Chicago Winter is riding in the cab of a truck with the heater going full blast.

Yesterday was bright sun, cloudless skies, no wind, and 45F. Looks even better today. Outdoor grilling plus t-shirts and shorts weather for this area.
