Brozz 250 shifter

When ordering a new shift lever for my brozz, should I order one for a crf230??, or is there a better option?

I ordered two different options from Amazon for a XR 250. One cheap and a IMS $$. They both didn’t stick out far enough for my boot to catch. I had to twist my foot inward in order to shift . Returned both. I stayed with the stock cheap one.

I got an IMS Flightline off Amazon. I like it. Out of the way more than the stock shifter.

Oh and now that I think about it, if you do order that one, fit is good and everything but I do believe I took a trip to the hardware store to get a slightly shorter bolt for mounting. Clearance is tight to start the threads on the mount/clamp bolt. Easy enough though 85 cents and a reason to ride.

did the splines fit right? all the talk has been crf230 is the cross fit for the brozz bikes and this wont fit the 230 according to the cross reference.

I am ready for an upgrade after having to work the wrinkles out of the stock one 2 or 3 times>:(

This will fit. Great quality but it doesn’t stick out very far. My boot would barely grab it. I ended up returning it as I had to make a mental effort to twist but foot inward to shift.

This is the one input on my Hawk.. I used a button head screw I had left over from the front sprocket upgrade on my kids taotao atv.

Splines line up perfectly and it sticks out just far enough. The folding end is nice, and I think it'll take exponentially more force to bend the entire lever compared to stock.

I kept the stock one in my garage drawer as a spare of course.

But I do recommend the IMS flightline, it's a good lever.

Thanks fellas,
Spins, I am going to give it a try, I have a lot of metal working tools and should be able to add offset pretty easily but I really appreciate the heads up because now I know not to expect it to be perfect out of the gate.

It’s a quality made product. I just wish the folding end was twice as long. Guys told me to mod it. $30 for a shifter , I felt I shouldn’t have too.

I agree but kinda expect to have to with a knock off and just looking at it I am hoping it will be a pretty simple tweak.
