C-Seven Corvette.

Rand let me tool around with his new C7 this weekend.

It was a pleasure. It makes my C4 seem as primitive as an old hammer, although I appreciate the older car's elemental sportiness and simplicity.

The Seven flat out rocks. Stupid power and such a tight chassis. Feels as solid as a Benz, not like a typical Corvette at all. Luxurious, and smooth. Very comfortable. Very fast, and with the electronics, controlable.

The GOOD news is that I will have access to this and the Viper this summer.

The BAD news is that the Harley went to his son in Florida and I will not be getting it again.

The GREAT news is having a friend like Rand in my life who shares his enjoyment and time with me.

Every now and then I sit back at reflect the amazing blessings I (and we all) have that are not deserved but given to us with love and grace.

God is Good.

It's nice and green over there. :)

We acutally got a little snow in the mountains on Saturday. However, it will quickly melt, since the weather is going to turn very nice, starting next Tuesday.

Well said.

That C7 looks good in your driveway.

It does doesn't it!

Spud, all the green here this time of year is courtesy of irrigation.

The hills get semi-green between the end of winter and early spring, but by now they are tan-brown.

I can't say for sure but I don't think we have had even an inch of rain in the past two months. A couple of drizzly days but nothing you'd need an umbrella or put on the wipers. Even then only an hour or three.

The wind in blowing like a sumbeech today. I still went riding though ;-)

I've heard of housesitting, but Vette-sitting??! LOL

If you look close enough, you might see the slight Cadillac XLR roadster in the new Vette--after all, that Caddy used to be made on the Vette chassis which is why I thought it made sense (no one else sees it, however, LOL).

Doc likes the XLR also :-)

Nice ride, love the color.
Spoke with a buddy of mine about a month ago. Retired Cardio-doc. Like you, he's always had a taste in fine cars. Vipers, vettes over the years...and now he has the Cadi. He said, "The kid in me still loves the vette under the skin, but my age love the luxury and comfort."
