XF200 rear brake shoes
First off thank you to everyone on here your tips, links and advice. They have been very helpful to me and I'm sure many others.
I've been scouring the net trying to find rear shoes that will fit my xf200. From what I've read the suzuki drz125l and the dr200se shoes are not the same as the ones on the xf200? The only ones that I can find that I'm sure will fit are on Taobao, but I'm not ready to place an order through them yet because of shipping etc. and I need them quickly. Anybody know what size and type aftermarket shoes will fit? Thanks again. |
1978 Yamaha Dt125/175 brake pads are the exact same size, you can choose o.e, braking, vesarh, ebc and etc... in the $20 range

According to http://www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonl...015_RMR200.php it's using Suzi (EBC S602) shoes
Yammie (EBC Y506) shoes are close in size. http://cdn0.fast-serve.net/cdn/Brook..._600_4Q1CC.jpg http://cdn2.fast-serve.net/cdn/Brook..._250_4Q1CZ.jpg --- The taobao one IS Suzi type http://s.taobao.com/search?q=%B2%D8%...urceId=tb.item |
Even if the major dimensions are the same, I would stick with the Suzuki brake shoes for the QLink XF200. ;) The location of the mounts for the springs is important. If the springs are either too loose, or too tight, you will probably have problems with the rear brake. :ohno:
