Q9 Powersports

Just wanted to report on Q9 they shipped the bikes out very quickly (got them in 1 week.) and the MCO came 1 week later, but i did have to call and have them send a duplicate title because the original never arrived. All in all great experience with them and very happy with the bikes.

Have heard hawks good to go in tx. Especially since the distributor is in dallas. My Bashhan went thru too, no issues.

1 purchase insurance
2 inspection garage with proof of insurance (inspection electronic linked to licence Bureau)
3 County licence office ... pay up sucker
4 receive baby Lone Star State plate
5 title sent in mail 4-6 weeks to you

Just have to get the m so first

:hi: you should have some nice adventure roads in centex

Start thread with pics on hawk birthday

It's super easy in Missouri. Didn't need an inspection since its not more than 5 years old. All I needed was the mco, Bill of sale, and insurance. Didn't have to drive the bike anywhere and DMV didn't even have to look at it. Paid the titling fee, license and taxes and Had my plates in less than 15 minutes.

Mine arrived from Q9 in a couple days. It only took a couple hours to assemble and it runs great. The only issues so far is that it does not come with assembly instructions (not a big deal as it is pretty basic) and the speedometer cable was kinked in the crate and that caused the cable to fail. I contacted Q9 by email reference warranty and have not received a response. I called and they said that all warranties are by email. The person I spoke to said that he would follow up and make sure that my email is responded to.
In the meantime I an using a GPS to judge speed.
I will let every one know how the warranty is handled.

Finally received a reply from Q9 after messaging on facebook. Warranty request just resent and we will see what happens. Use email Q9service@gmail.com for warranty request. Apparently no one reads the ones sent to the customer service email posted on their website. Here is hoping.

well, tomorrow actually, but its coming

just for the record, people need to be careful with the speedometer cable. i don't know whether this one was a factory defect or not, but it is imperative that the speedometer housing on the axle be properly installed with no free play or it will start vibrating, and both the cable and the housing need to have no contact whatsoever with the tire or the rotor.

Adam. Just wanted to let you know the cable came in and the bike is running great. I am eagerly awaiting the MSO/title paperwork from Q9 so I can get it registered and put a few legal miles on it.

Just an FYI-If you have not done so already, pull the cable from the sheath (it slips out of what would be the tire end) and clean and lube it with some good grease, then slide it back into the sheath. China cables, on the whole, come virtually greaseless and/or with a haze of corrosion on them just from sitting. This has caused many premature speedo cable failures in the past with members here. Plus it will make your speedo needle smooth as silk.
