Congrats on the fastest Orange RX3.

I noticed in the un-crating pics the pallet looks to now have some reinforcement/metal strapping. I don't recall seeing that before in other un-crating pics.

When we un-boxed our RX3 last year, the pallet was cracked/broken through on one side but still together. Others pics, I've seen had the pallet broken into a few pieces.

I drove it to the insurance company so they could take a pic of the vin and got it insured, then went to the credit union and got the title work, then drove to the DMV and the line was all the way outside....DUH...last day of the month everyone was getting their tags. Ill go next week when the lines shorter.... we have 20 days to get a tag. oh yeah, stopped and got gas first and almost couldnt get away from a couple of guys taking pics of it and asking a ton of questions. now its raining and supposed to rain all the way through tuesday....darn. keep having to remind myself...KEEP BELOW 5000RPM.

Awesome- congratulations - and thank you for the pictures - it is getting me excited for my arrival date. Bike left CA yesterday.

SpudRider 04-29-2016 08:03 PM

Didn't I say your RX3 would arrive in pristine condition? ;) You also won't have any problems getting a license plate for it, either. :)

Thanks for posting the great photos of the 'uncrating.'

P.S. You don't need to keep the engine speed under 5,000 rpms. Merely vary the engine rpms, and don't ride the bike too hard for the first 2,000 miles or so. ;)

Is the a quick way to tell if the fuel water separator is upside down ?

Yes, the hose should be on top, and the clamp should be on the bottom of the oil contaminant separator (OCS), as shown below. ;)
