I got it today and put it together! It went together fairly well considering there really weren't any instructions, just the owner's manual. When completed, I spent about a half hour earlier tonight going in circles around my lawn, grinning like an idiot. My wife and 13-yr old daughter laughed at how dorky I looked (I'm a bit under 6'2" and haven't been on a bike since I was a teen), but I don't care! These things are awesome.

So today I took it in the woods behind our neighborhood to go down the trail I kind of cleared out last week. The ground is way too soft right now but I got some neat shots!

I have to stay off of here for awhile, I am so jealous right now. I didn't realize how much I missed having a motorcycle until I stumbled upon chinariders.net
But I am not so jealous that I can't be happy for you all, or in more proper english, Y'all,

Oh, I could never handle joining this forum if I hadn't gotten one. I would get so jealous it wouldn't be fun, haha.

Looks like your well on your way to be ready for the all day ride.

I really like those bikes. have you had it in sand or dirt yet? If I remember right the originals had knobby tires front and rear.

These are definitely street oriented stock tires...no dirt. Fortunately, dirt oriented tires are plentiful for these bikes.

I changed out the tires immediately to Duro HF203 Tire Blackwall Size 4.00-10 semi knobby that do just fine in the sand/dirt. Also help correcting the speedometer but it is still way off as 50 MPH indicated is actual 44 MPH speedometer app on my cell phone. If you do mud you might have to raise the front fender but for me who doesn't do mud if I can avoid it the fender location is just fine.
Also the larger rear tire and a 17 tooth on the front help raise the gearing so 1st gear is more usable.

As we all know, stock tires are absolute hot garbage on anything other than perfectly smooth concrete. I already upgraded to Shinko 421 trails which so far are great and were very reasonable at about $29 each. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...&theater&ifg=1
