Western NC Weekend 4/28 to 5/1
 

I am going to a rally with my Concours Owners Group on these dates, but I plan to take my hawk with me and do some dirt/gravel exploring on back roads in western NC. I am staying at Kickstand Lodge in Stecoah NC. I plan to arrive around 2 PM Thursday afternoon and leave Sunday afternoon sometime.

Kickstand Lodge is primarily camping, but I am taking my toy hauler which converts to a cabin inside. they have a few cabins on-site but there are a bit pricy. I have not stayed there before, but as I understand, they usually have group meals on the weekends. people volunteer to either cook or clean up and pitch in a few bucks for the cost of food.

Anyone interested in going????

I can be across the border in about 20 minutes, but then I'm at the opposite corner of the US.

sounds like fun. and I'd probably enjoy going, I'm even in NC. but I've got another year of my wife being in an accelerated doctorate program which leaves me watching my 3 young boys any time I'm not working.


another year and i'll be able to go exploring again.

I'll keep it in mind, and see if my Schedule works out so that I could go....
