carb jets....

Just got a 24mm Milkuni to replace the leaky PZ19
on the boys pit with a 125 Lifan...
the PZ19 has a 80 main jet... the 24mm milkuni
has a 85 main...
The out fit I bought the carb from said it is jetted
for 50cc up to 140cc with the same jet..
Yer right...
dose anyone have a idea at what size range of
jets I should get to start jetting it....

I'm going to defer to your good judgement there. I bought a 24mm Mikuni for a 110 project I have, but I haven't tried to fire it yet.

I'd try the 85 and watch the plug closely.

i d start with a 100 on the 24mm Mikuni for a standard 125cc motor. that s what the hondas use with the vertical motor.

orded 10 main jets of aliexpess fo $10..
now just trying to find pilot jets...

slow air jet for the 24 mm Mikuni on the XL125s is a 38, clip in 3rd groove, pilot screw varies between years, from 1 5/8 to 2 3/8.

the horizontal motor shouldn t make a difference i think

The same seller also has pilot jets..
any 10 sizes for $10...

zingshoen 10-11-2014 05:41 AM

that s a good price, but what are you going to do with all those jets? or do they come in small increments? that would be very useful!
