The stock, size 132, Teikei main jet is roughly equivalent to a size 130, Mikuni main jet. Therefore, to enrich your mixture, begin experimenting with a size 132.5, Mikuni main jet. ;)

I think the drilled jet is so large, that not enough fuel is drawn into the air stream. A venturi requires a narrow range of sizes, and I believe that 1/16" is far too large. When you try the jet that Spud has recommended, I bet the colour will improve. White is dangerous.

After installing a keihin 140 and rode 20 miles did the plug chop, know is black. I think will try with the 138.

Some pics of my vento at the work (in the middle of the Chihuahuan desert), someday will paint the plastics in black or white. As you can see, the DT gas tank is a bit bigger than the stock one. I don´t like the space between the saddle and plastic but, again, someday will fix it.

Indeed, that plug is very black. ;) I think a size 132.5 Mikuni jet will be just about right.

Your bike looks really good. That black plug is much safer. I agree with Spud on the 132.5.

I´ve been doing my research and found that mikuni 132.5 = Keihin 150 or 155 (don´t remember). Is this true? if so, need to visit all motorcycle store because some stores only sell jets for 125cc. Only Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and Kawa could sell the main jet but not sure if will find the 150 or 155 Keihin or even Mikuni. Anyway I will check and hope I could find it.

That black plug would be a relief if it was white/hot before. The exhaust header paint looks like it was heating up quite a bit? Good to know the Keihin jets can work in the TK.

I don't know the answer. The bottom line is that your engine is much safer now, so all you need to do is find a smaller jet that creates a tan / grey colour.

The Minkuni jets are uniformly employed by the TW200 owners who have the same engines and carburetors as we Zongshen owners. Therefore, I think it is best to stick with the Mikuni jets, where all the information has been verified and tested. ;)
