1st service done

Hi all

In my country the dealer is requesting 1st service at 500 KMS, so this was done on Saturday.
At the end not a good experience since guess what? They dont have oil filters!!!!
So they just change oil, kind of cleaned the original filter and that's it.
The guy even went to various spare parts places and could not find any, so now I will need to order from CSC.

On a separate note, I am still falling in love with my bike.

NZbrakelathes can set you up with metal screen filters that are intended to be reusable. Sounds like you can use a set.

Don't worry about it. It isn't really necessary to change the filter at each oil change. After the first service at 500 miles, I started changing my filter on every fifth oil change; I'm running 2000 miles between oil changes and at 13,000 miles on the odometer now, without any problems, I'm only on my third filter.

Thank you both, will try to buy the one with NZbrakelathes and ship it to Las Vegas to save on charges.

I am in mids of opening up an online shop with cheap postage (rules here dictates I must for cheap postage)
If you are in the USA December maybe it can be posted or maybe just DHL which is $45 for 2.49 kg to $60 for 3.99 Kg

I can and will send you parts no matter where in the world but I cannot be accountable if it doesn't reach you in some of the difficult service countries (I don't mean to be rude or anything but I know South America Africa Middle East and some places are just plain complex and expensive which I have zero control over)

Here is a list of what I think might suit you and your situation.

Service parts:

5 Oil filter paper kind (better filtration and road type bikes)
1-2 Mesh filters used in MX bikes (I prefer these for running in and more suited to bikes with short oil changes.
2 small black oil filter strainers.
2 sump plug washer/O ring sets.
1 Air filter ready to swap out (They are reusable but a ready clean oiled spare is easier)
1 Iridium spark plug
2 Fuel filters
feeler gauges that suit the NC valve lash adjustment.

Accessories:
2 Tourfella case bags.
Set of straps for the 3 cases.
Cushion or 2 for back box.
Clutch arm extension for lighter nicer clutch control.
Upgraded overflow bottle if not already fitted. (RX3S type or direct fit 2018 RX3 type)

Other less important but nice to have things:
Volt meter for dash board.
NC300 big bore kit.
Big brake once we get that finally sorted
Hand guards.
Phone/GPS mount to the inner windshield or just the mounting ball.
Spare plastic fuel can and mounting bracket.
13 tooth front sprocket if no 300 kit.

Above is my opinion for consideration and suggestions to more or less or your opinion is welcome.:thanks:
