I've got the Lifan ECU Flasher Software for all Lifan ECU Models!!!

1 Attachment(s)
It supports full tuning of the ignition and fuel curves, so I looked up a local Dyno Tuning Company that brings their Dyno Trailer by events at Deals Gap. I've got an Aluminum Intake and Slip-On Stainless Steel Exhaust, so whatever they create for a fuel map should be universally usable for most Lifan X-Pects. If anyone else wants to build and share their ECU Tunes it'd be cool to see what we come up with. Anyways, here's the Lifan ECU Manual with the Free ECU Flashing Software.

Also, here is the Lifan ECU Reflashing Software Guide along with the cables.

Wonder if this will work with the Lifan 168cc EFI scooter engine? May try it one of these days.

If it uses the Lifan EFI 9 Euro 4 ECU then yes.

The only information I can find on my EFI is that is a HUNIER EFI 9.0 A200624. Google Hunier and you come up with nothing useful. I have ECU hacker and the interfaces required by have still to figure out how to use them. same with the Panlong bluetooth scanner. Does the Lifan EFI have a Lifan marking.

I do see where they added the 'Lifan EFI 9.0' xml to the newest version. Have you tried the newest version of hud ecu hacker? Which bike do you have?

I'm also wondering if you can change the mappings like you can with the MT05/05.2 ECU.

Teklock, that Hunier EFI is on my 2020 Lifan X-pect. I downloaded ECU hacker about a month or so ago so guess it is the newest version, I have hooked the bike up to ECU hacker and chose the Lifan ECU and I connected and saw some information there but have not recorded anything so far. I have not figured the program out yet and don't really want to leave the bike idling too long while I play.

How do you down load the ECU flashing program ?

It's towards the bottom of the page under Download and installation.

You may need a J2534 compatible adapter like the Tactrix OpenPort adapter (or clone of it). The author of 'HUD ECU Hacker' is a member here. His name is Raptorix. Look up his posts for threads with a lot of good info.

Teklock, I have the VAG KKL adaptor which works fine. It is just that I do not know the program and its operation so hope to pick up bits and pieces as these threads continue.

It does look like the x-pect has the 'Lifan EFI 9 Euro 4' as listed in hud ecu hacker. Can you select 'Download entire flash' and actually download it? I'm still a bit skeptical we can do this with this newer non-MT05 ecu.

Thanks G-Raptr! I am sure these are leaned out upon arrival to get by import standards, and having no access to these adjustments is the main reason to go analog (carb). Getting into this is nothing short of game changer

Hooked up my computer to the ECU and connected started recording a logfile and went for a short ride with the computer in a backpack. First of all a note came up saying that the ECU was primitive and only refreshed every second. When I look at the dashboard I can see movement in the engine speed, see the engine temp and all sorts of other useless information. Of particular interest is my altitude of 1533 meters when in actual fact I am not much more than about 20 meters above the chesapeake bay. Also the play logfile has me down as a Lifan CTS 125cc xml whatever that is. Still in the dark here can anyone add some light.
John
