Sold my HSUN, bought a QLink XP-200 PICS ADDED!!!
As I may have mentioned before I have a friend in the neighborhood who is a Q dealer :D . He has a leftover 2009 QLink XP-200 he wanted to sell to me for $1500 brand new with the 2 year warantee. Tax and license extra of course :? .
Soooooooo, I put my HSUN on CL for $850 and sold it to the first guy who looked at it. He is a diesel mechanic, so he should have no problem with the inevitable minor issues that may (will) crop up. I was very clear to him that this is NOT a Honda, but it's only 1/4 the price, and a pretty good machine all things considered. I fixed all the little stuff already, and I refered him to our forum. 8) I paid $899 for it, $150 shipping, and about $150 taxes and fees to license it, and I built it so I think he got a great deal. Considering the fun I had on it, I think it was not too bad for me either. At any rate, how could I not buy the Q? I get the warantee, a new bike, and a pretty good 'Suzuki' for not much money. :D Film at 11. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05224.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05226.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05227.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05229.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05233.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...e/DSC05234.jpg |
Waiting for 11 ;)

For a few weeks now, the Qlink online store has been selling 2008 closeout, XP200 motorcycles for $1,699, plus shipping. http://store.qlinkmotor.com/products...55017.0.0.0.0? However, you got an even better deal on a current, 2009 model! :D Once again, congratulations! :) I also await the film at 11:00. ;) Spud :) |
I hope to take it for it's first few dirt runs this weekend. I'm just wondering if it would be better to break it in in the dirt or on the street. Speeds in the dirt are much lower, and there would be almost constant throttle changes which is good, so I'm leaning that way.
I liked the HSUN just fine, but there is SO no comparison. Bear in mund the Q is almost twice as much money though. It is lighter by a wide margin, narrower by a wide margin, much smoother and much faster, has the upside down forks which have ZERO flex, a much better seat, instrumentation, and ergonimics. I can't give a number amount, but I'd bet it's at least 40 lbs lighter. I am happy with the upgrade! Anyone want my Ninja? |
Great looking bike doc!!! haven't really seen any Q's
(how much for the ninja ? PM sent) |
$2700
2008, 3500 miles. Like new condition. |

Don't tease

Sorry about that.
NOT! :P |
How is the noise level different between the Hsun and Q?
|
Very significant. The OHC engine seems intrinsically quieter than the OHV in the HSUN, and it is more powerful so it is working less hard at any given speed. Also, the HSUN's 'bodywork' was set up in such a way as to direct engine noise at the rider. The exhaust was also quite a bit louder.

nice bike a while back i saw a qlink at a dealer here in town it was about a year ago and they wanted $2000. for it so it sounds like you got a great deal. I know the welds looked really solid compared to some of the other china bikes i have seen.
