Lifan KPR 200 Front sprocket & chain update
 

Is 16T/ 17T front sprocket cause any damage to sprocket shaft of lifan kpr 200 motorcycle? Is 428 x ring chain ok with that? Is x ring chain have any impact on power and performance?

Hello, no a 16 or 17 tooth sprocket won’t cause any damage. I’ve tried both a I believe the 16 tooth sprocket is the best for power and economy on the KPR with the increase in mph capabilities. Yes, the 428 chain is the correct one. As far as the x ring chain goes it’s a matter of personal preference, myself I use a standard chain because it’s all street driven and doesn’t get all the muck in it from off-road travel. But if you wanted to use an x ring chain it would be perfectly fine. Hope this helps
