Cool.....a new area but.............

I wonder why no 6X6  oh well.

I think the chinese are making 6X6's but I think I'd like a smaller, one man sized one.

Ok well here is my UTV (even though its not a REAL UTV)
It is lots of fun to drive around and is somewhat capable offroad but the suspension is limited.

If you were closer I would probably take it off your hands.

ahh a sunrunner I have never seen one around here, well I may have seen one but never paid attention to it.
(living so close to the border I'm sure a few have been running around here)

I had a few older trackers and they were fun to beat on in the woods.

TurboT 08-12-2009 07:36 PM

Yes the Pontiac version of the Tracker. Pretty much the same thing.
We've owned it since it was new, my wife purchased it from the lot back in 1994. It's been her daily driver, then my daily driver for a while. Now that the family is getting bigger and we have a van and the truck, plus a company LandRover, it's just time to move on from it.

206000km, still has the original tires and clutch. Have to say it's probably be the best vehicle I've ever been around for longevity and reliability. I don't want to 'give it away' so am trying to get about $3000 for it. Maybe I'm dreaming but it's such a reliable car, no oil burning and it even passes our emissions aircare test here no problem.

YEP....I love my little tracker and would take it over a real UTV anyday.

Lately my tracker has been the only fun thing I have driven because of the long combined days of work and working on the new/old house.

So are there any affordable 6x6 chinese made toys for sale over here :?: or how about a chinese made zero-turn mower that I could use as a parts donor.

I'm looking to the future when I dont HAVE to work on the house and I can just tinker a bit.

Well I finally sold the Sunrunner/Tracker.

Got my 3 g's and it's in someone else's driveway now!

Happy Day!

I love your Chevy, TC. :) Please tell me what model it is. I am very interested in small SUVs/trucks. Can you tell me more about the current choices regarding similar vehicles?

Spud :)

They stopped making the trackers in 04.
They are just rebadged suzuki's.

Now that we have a mule and the tracker I can say the mule is fun the drive around but the tracker is still far far more useable in many more ways.

I still have plans for the tracker like a lift and some other goodies but all that has been pushed back for now.

Thank you, TC. :) Does anyone else manufacture a similar, small SUV? I would really like acquire one. :)

The samurai is even smaller and more off-roadable.

Otherwise I think that KIA has the sportage. :? Not sure if that is really an alternative.

Oh, If you can find one. The Daihatsu Rocky. My sister bought one new.

katoranger 02-03-2010 08:52 PM

One more thing. You might be able to get it registered in tater land. Look up the japanese mini trucks.

Thank you, Allen. :) I guess the Kia Sportage/Hyundai Tucson might be the smallest SUV currently manufactured. :?: I wish someone was manufacturing a smaller SUV. :(

Spud :)
