2005 Zongshen Enduro story

Hello everyone, new to site, and new to china bikes.
figured i would post up a bit about the bike, trying to keep it street/dirt ready.
Well first off this is my first bike ever, well i did have a italian moped. lol
Anyway 2 wks ago i bought a 2005 zongshen 200cc GY enduro street/dirt bike. Since gas prices are going up and i drive a lifted jeep that does not get good MPG, i decided a enduro would be better on gas mileage and also fun to ride around in the dirt.
Got it for pretty good deal. i live in Vegas Bike looked like it was in good shape (all good body pieces)

I' am trying to keep this bike street legal and have it Reg and title here in nevada. I have the COG from where the bike was ship from, but not really title or signed on the COG from dealership or any owners. So the bike has never been REG.
So as of right now I'm looking for some info on getting the title here in nevada.
Thank you for reading my long post and as i don't know much about bikes anybody with info would be appreciated.
I also posted pics are posted.

Rather than have us flip between threads, it would be great if you could post a pic of your rear brake setup here. I'm confident that we can point you towards a replacement at a decent price.

You might be able to bleed your rear brakes by changing the procedure slightly. Most of the China brakes are Honda copies, and as such the bleeder isn't at the highest point of the caliper. If you unbolt the caliper and rotate it so that the bleeder is at the highest point, it might bleed successfully. If you try to bleed it in place, there might be a pocket of air that will never leave. Just make sure to have the rotor between the pads, so the piston has something to pressurize against.

I reversed bled a rear setup once with a big syringe from the vet. Take the bleeder out, pop the mc cap. Use a plastic needle from a mighty vac on the syringe and squeeze until there is no bubbles in the resivour.

Thanks for showing us the pic. The reason I asked, is because the brake hose can be installed two different ways on the caliper. I recommend that you remove the hose, flip it over and re-install it. The way it sits now, it will trap air that you will not be able to bleed out.

Here is a master cylinder.

Take a look here. Looks like that caliper may be a brembo copy.

Thank you.everyone that replyed.
some of those links are pretty good darn parts or close to what I'm looking for. I did email Moto X on their main website 2 times and never got a reply. .
Need to take better measurements. Hate to order the wrong one.

Weldangrind 04-05-2014 12:12 PM

If you flip that hose over, you might not even need new parts. The ABS device could have been the source of the trouble.

katoranger 04-05-2014 01:51 PM

You may not need any parts. If you do I am betting on the master cylinder. Have not seen many caliper failures.
