2018 Brozz 250cc
Peace Sports will be getting the Brozz again Early March 2018. They are assembled at the Bashan factory.
We last imported the shark/brozz in 2014 and stopped due to slower sales, not because of a poor quality bike. We still have a small selection of parts remaining from those 2014 models. Email me/call me if you need something. (An email with the picture of the part you need is easiest) In 2017, we had enough of our dealers ask us about the shark/brozz and comment how good of bikes they were and how minimal repairs were needed to them now after 3 years later. In late 2017, our owner went to China and met with Bashan and worked out a deal to begin importing them again. There is a small chance we might open it up for retail sales (aka ship in a box) but for now its wholesale only. Shoot me an email if you want to be notified if that changes. To my understanding, we will be the only USA importers of the Brozz. 93 units of green/red/blue are coming on the first container expected first week of March so check in with your local dealer if you need one to start off the riding season. I do not believe there are any major changes from the 2014 models. I will find out once I assemble one for our showroom. Let me know if you have any questions |
What a tease :)
No pics, no specs, just it's coming... I can't wait to see another entry or re-entry into this market. |

Sorry Man. I don't have new specs right now. Should be very close in comparison. Single cylinder carb'd 4 stroke at about 15hp. I will ask the owner to find out more from his contact at Bashan. I won't actually get info for a few more weeks though. Why? Because China is on its month long new years holiday right now. Most of the country shuts down, including Bashan. I guess over there they have a longer work week job dependent being 6 or 7 days per week so the country takes a month off to see family every year so I'm told. Its currently in week 2 of 4. With that said, I have a scanned copy of the 2014 Brozz owners manual that gives details of the 2014 model. If anyone needs a copy of the 2014 owners manual, email me and I'll send it to you. jeffreyp@peacesports.com |
Container taking a little longer than expected. Now it should be here in 2 weeks.

PeaceSportsAtlanta, have you heard any rumor for Bashan to make these bike CARB approved? I know it's a little costly but the CG motor has been approved for a decade here and they all come with air pumps and purge cans now. |

I will not have orange coming in on the first container. Red, green, black, and blue will be on this first one. I'm doubting the CARB compliance but I just emailed to our Bashan Rep and I'll let you know what he says. |
Before Peace Sports got the Brozz back, I had been corresponding with the rep, and asked him about CARB (this was before I was even thinking of moving back to L.A., LOL), and he stated there are too few sold to warrant trying for CARB. At the time, I was in AZ, so it didn't bug me, but now that I am in L.A., it bothers me, LOL. I still have my AZ driver's license and my wife and kids are still in Yuma, so I might try the loophole.

2018 Brozz Pictures in Green

As we've said, basically what we imported in 2014 but these are the pictures our Bashan Rep sent us. Only let me upload 5 but these give pretty good detail.

SO, You have basically brought in the 2014 Brozz again? No upside down forks or luggage rack. Bashan must have had alot of leftover 2014's. Still not a bad bike. My Son's "14 is doing quite well still. But that 2K price tag is a bit steep Jeff.

I'd say Zongshen felt it was worth the effort for CARB approval. They're selling a bunch of them. I think it's just a matter of time until others jump on board. EPA will most likely require CARB standards before long anyway. Maybe by the time I wear out my Zongs others will be on board. |
Just got confirmation it is not CARB approved so it is a 49 state Brozz.
Other notes: The container is stateside already. Were just waiting for it to be released from customs. First container has the following: We shipped 28 units red, 45 units green, 10 units black, 10 units blue. "The carburetor is Keihin, we don't use Makuni for our bikes." --Bashan Rep |

I really like the Bashan bikes. Hopefully in a few years, something may change. |
