Vader goes to the city

Today I decided to take my vader to a more urban environment and see what she could do. I stopped at a run down car wash for the first photo. It provided a nice backdrop.

I had one thing on my mind after I finally reached the city limits, hit the alleys!

I shredded across town using these alleys almost exclusively. The vader is completely at home in this type of environment. You can tell that it was designed for this purpose over anything else. I ripped through a couple of parking garages as well. They were mostly empty and quiet so it made for a perfect opportunity to enjoy them.

Found a bike shop that I wasn't aware existed and couldn't resist taking a photo next to the shop entrance.

After a bit more fun in the city I found a construction area on the outskirts. I played around in their parking area for some time before calling it a day.

All in all it turned out to be about a 60 mile trip on the vader. This puts her up to about 800 miles on the odometer and nothing but a few loose bolts and screws at this point. Out of all the bikes i own or have owned I don't remember ever having this much fun. The vader (and I'm sure groms as well) are such a joy to own and ride. They seem to make people smile as you pass as well and I think that's a really good thing.

Its a maxxis m6024. It makes offroading much easier. I have a front as well but am undecided on putting it on.

Fun! I live 20 miles outside a city and it becomes much more fun when I get there. I can't wait to ride again. I will have my xl100 on the road next spring with a lifan 200! The vader may go up for sale, considering a zong.

No pics, it falls into one of my stalled projects categories :). Brand new Lifan 125 with auto as the new powerplant. Starts and runs great, really gotta finish it one of these days! Lol

Really do like the Vaders and Groms though, such cool bikes! My fondest biking memories are of tooling around the fields and back roads when I was a kid on my CT70, same one I'm supposedly fixing! ;)
Like the smaller bikes, lotsa smiles per cc!
