RX3 pivoting foot peg mounts

2 Attachment(s)
The stock RX3 foot pegs are some of the best pegs I've had on a motorcycle.
These mounts allow you to add pivoting pedals from a mountain bike to your RX3. Reduces ankle fatigue when going in rough places where the bike is doing a lot of fore and aft tilting and gives a wider platform then stock. These adapters are drilled and tapped 9/16" left hand and right hand threads for standard mountain bike pedals which can be had on Ebay or your local bike shop for under $10 for the pedals. You buy whatever pedal fits your liking. These can pivot straight up and have no return spring because I've found I didn't need them and wanted to keep the mount as strong as possible by not milling out an area for the spring.
So I'm seeing how much interest there would be in these? Then I can have a game plan for making them
Your preferred way of payment? PayPal or MO, check sent directly to me?
Cost of a pair of mounts is $45 plus shipping in USA. Other pivot type foot pegs are around $125-$162.

I'd be interested in two complete sets.
Paypal's best for me.
Thanks

Thanks for your willingness to offer your time, and talent, to produce this product for other RX3 owners. :)

That's a smart idea at a fair price.

for kicks and giggles I sent a print of the pedal mounts to proto labs to get a bid on 25 sets just to see what a "real" world cnc machine shop would charge me to make them. I'll report back in a day or two what they tell me. I hope to get started on them in a day or 2, rj

Hope to start tomorrow afternoon making these if time permits and we have no emergencies ,rj

Do you mind to take pics of the process?

X2; if you have time, please do take some photographs. :) I am not a professional, but I have done a little machine work, myself. ;)

Started working on them this afternoon and am about done except for the threaded pedal holes. I'll get them tomorrow morning and then put them in a vibrating tumbler to deburr and polish them. I'm taking pics of every setup but left the camera at work so I'll get pics posted tomorrow.

Here's some pedals that would work off Ebay. $8.25 & $6.99 shipped

A tumbler would be a handy toy to have around.

Thanks for the update, RJ. :)

Very nice machine setup. What tumbler do you use and what media do you use?

For my projects in aluminum I use the large Harbor Freight tumbler with the gray triangles. I typically powder coat after so I never go to a finer media for a better finish.

I also love using a chop saw for cutting stock. Not that a bandsaw doesn't work, but the chips just fly with the right blade. I use http://www.lowes.com/pd_349249-29990...lar+saw+blades
