Enforcer and Storm on their way...

The Bashan rep confirmed the Brozz has landed (as we already knew) with 93 units here now, in L.A., awaiting Custom's scrutiny.

He also stated that Storms and Enforcers are on the way to the US (kind of vague), but he was under the impression that there are some left at the distributor now. I recall a new member introducing himself and his new Storm (sorry, forgot his handle) and China007 bought one Storm and one Enforcer.

In other words, there will be quite a few Bashan bikes available. I am kind of disappointed that the Shark 250 is not coming back; once the run of Brozz bikes happened last year, and then people bought Sharks, they seemed like a great bike, in spite of them being overlooked initially due to the Brozz bikes available. It would be up to Peace or the other distributor to import them, but don't hold your breath.

Good to know, What baffles me is that Jeff @ Peace Sports posted pics of the Brozz they had coming it is the 2014 model with the standard forks like a Hawk. I'm still scratching my head on that one.

Don't get me wrong there is NOTHING wrong with that bike. I'm just a little confused. Maybe Bashan had them left over and Peace bought em up! I'm waiting to snap one up in BLACK but if that price is hovering around 2 grand, count me out!

Hey great news! I am going to get one of those. I just don't know all the differences in the bikes. Or maybe I should say likenesses in the bikes.

Can someone explain it really simple?

Not sure on what Peace's strategy is, but I told the Bashan rep to throw on 21/18 wheels, and when Peace became the distributor once again, he said they wanted to stick with the 19/17 (or whatever size they are). So, maybe they are living like it's 2014...

Not sure where to begin, but really and truly, take a look a the photos. There are definite differences among the 3 models. People can chime in on the details, however, but one detail on the Enforcer is it is near identical to the very popular-around-here Hawk. Definitely different from the Brozz and the Storm in the looks and feature department.

If they put 21/18's and a rear disc brake on the Brozz they would sell out before they ever cleared customs. Heck, even I would consider ordering one.

The China builders don't have "year/model" so much like the Japanese (or anyone else). It wouldn't surprise me in the least of some Brozz came in with rear drum/regular forks and later in the year, some came in with rear disk and USD forks. There's not a ton of consistency and they assemble with what they have at the time.....or at least that's how it worked a few years ago. I can't imagine that's changed much.

Most bikes share so many parts because the builders (Bashan, Lifan, Loncin, Haosan, etc..) don't make most of the parts themselves. They buy them from other China manufacturers who make certain parts and then assemble, much like how HD can make a bunch of versions of basically the same bike.

It_not_a_honda, to shop for a China bike, it's not picking a brand vastly different from each other like Honda and BMW. They (Honda clones) are too much alike. What you do is pick the bike that has the items you prefer.
Disk or drum brakes...
Regular or USD forks....
Counter balanced or non-counterbalanced....
Rack or no rack....
Size and type of tire and rim to match your riding needs....
An important one....can you register the bike in your state?

My only advise would be to steer clear of an "old world" China bike. The motors were good but the rest of the bikes left little to be desired. That said, it's tough to go wrong with any "new world" Bashan, Haosan, Zong or especially SSR.

Saw APSC posting Enforcer coming in April 27... Don't know if I can wait that long and if the price goes up a CSC TT250 would be a worthy consideration once again.

Not sure what it is with that company, but they never seem to get their Enforcer 'right.' I mean, it seems so many people have ordered one, only to be fighting for a refund when it never arrived; this is after them claiming it has shipped, or is about to be shipped, or something about shipping...it seems that shipping is their big excuse. Seems to be an Enforcer thing with them, and a select few other bikes. My guess is the distributor for the Enforcer/Storm and ASPC do not get along.

Interesting find on 2018 Brozz. :hmm: What's wrong with this picture? Looks like our assumption are correct. 2013????

From one of the online dealers ad for the 2018 Brozz

Megadan 04-22-2018 02:30 PM

I would assume that the 2013 date, being at the bottom after the Companies name, is some sort of license or registry date for the model of the bike for road or emissions standards, and not the production date. The 2018 at the top specifically comes into play for it's applicable model year.

Likely this means it is the same basic bike they have been producing since 2013, but the bike is assembled new.
