Rear Caliper Fittings for ZS200GY-A

Hopefully a quick one this!

While fiddling around with adjusting my brake pedal I happened to notice that my rear caliper is held on with a large split pin, and only 1 of those at that...

Is it normal to use split pins for this?

I want to add a second fitting as the brake pad is slightly out of position.

Another split pin or replace both with something more robust?

Hey thanks recracer, very useful to see that. So... looks like some kind of special caliper bolts. Will maybe check in with my local fastener store to see if they have anything that will fit..

P.s. your caliper looks in slightly better condition than mine...

Double that for postage to NZ :D

Always hard to find stuff for a reasonable price down here.. hoping I can get some fittings for a couple of bucks!

Wow Ok I did not realize your location . hope you can find some suitable parts.

All good, appreciate time to take pics and find the part on ebay - cheers for that, have a good weekend!

Indeed, you are definitely missing two bolts. :ohno: I have never seen a brake caliper attached with cotter pins. ;) Good luck finding some suitable bolts. :)

You should certainly be able to buy a caliper on eBay that is shipped directly from China. The cost won't be prohibitve then, and you'll start with new parts. When it comes to brakes, that's always a good plan.

Thanks guys. Yes, sounds like that could be the go Weldangrind. I'll see if I can find one on Aliexpress.com if no luck on ebay..

This looks similar but not 100% sure how to tell whether it will fit - any thoughts?

Awesome, thanks HB! Does it not matter that it says for 125cc not 200cc?

Guess probably not much in it is there..

I'm betting that it's identical. HB gives us terrific guidance.
