China side by side?

Is anyone making a good quality side by side ATV from China? Something like a Kawasaki Teryx 4 would be ideal.

I think mossimo is at the top of that game.

Unless they sell for a lot less than list they are just as much as a Kawasaki.

This is the one I was looking at that Tractor Supply carries. I've heard nothing but good about it. They also carry the 600 which is about a grand more.

This also looks to be the identical unit for a grand less.

I have two friends with Chinese sidex's
One guy ,farmer ,bout his at year end from Home Depot 3-4 years ago for $2500.00 .His looks like a kubota ,he doesn't look after anything ,has probably never changed the oil ,and it's only had a battery and a starter solenoid replaced .He uses it every day .
My other buddy has two cfmoto units ,he is building a new home off grid and uses them all the time .His looks just like the tractor supply one you have posted .I was following him to his current home last weekend ,3-4 miles of good gravel road ,and he was going every bit as fast as I wanted to go in my truck ,so they are not dogs either .
I would be more than happy to ask either guy anything you like but I can tell you they have zero complaints with them .

I am thinking that if Tractor Supply is STILL selling the same units, they must be decent quality. Years ago, on a smaller scale, Pep Boys was selling Baja branded motorcycles and small go-karts, and had so many problems, they pulled the plug.

My friend used to distribute Hi-Sun who is the OEM manufacturer for Massimo, but Massimo must have extra quality control in place (I believe they might assemble them in Texas, which could be the main reason for their 'extra' quality), as my friend had some issues here and there with warranties on the Hi-Sun.

Yep, the Massimo is assembled in Texas. TSC actually also have some options for them, surprisingly enough. Like a rear windshield, cover and some other generic items. Again, I've heard nothing but good things about them regarding durability.
Our local TSC has three units sitting out front. A Massimo 500, and 600, and also a small 2WD unit. I forget what brand that is though, but I believe it may have a small Honda motor in it.

Was looking around for parts today and stumbled on this and remembered this thread.

They have some cheaper UTV's ... have used them for parts for my minibike... decent vendor to deal with and has some nice discounted sales. No clue about any of the UTV's they offer but some of them look decent... also have some of the ones discussed here I think.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll stick with my ATVs for now.
