Dual lights: Spot and flood

I am thinking about mounting a spot light on the left side, flood light on the right side of the new bike. I would like to see better what is coming my way and what is in the ditch. NoDak scenery at night is pretty cool if you like wildlife, but... not when riding. I came home last night and a raccoon, fox, ??? deer, and stray cattle where all either crossing the road or in the ditch. Nuff said.

Thoughts? Opinions? (and no, I don't usually ride in the dark and not fast either)

I had a pair of 2 inch (I think) spots on my Hawk for a while. They were cheap ones from Amazon but worked well enough. A couple other members here did the same.

Like the poster above me I also added a light to each side of the existing headlight. These lights have done very well so far and are not expensive:https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Motor..._2_nped_t&th=1

I guess I could link the lights I used. For as small as they are, they did pretty well.

It is a good idea to make a harness that uses a relay to power the lights. And then switch to ground the relay. That is the best/safest way to do it.

Also, be aware of your charging system. The EFI bikes have stronger stator, but the carb bikes only have 100-120W of peak output, at least 60 to 80 of which go toward powering the lights (depending on your bulb choices).
