"WILL" Jet Moto 200cc factory drive sprocket
Just an FYI to future buyers:
The Jet Moto 200cc "WILL" bike is shipped from the factory wit a 17T/56T set up giving a 3.29 final ratio per JT Sprockets website. :-) |
That's good for off-road, but it makes 60mph almost unattainable.
|
Correct.
I did not totally max it out since it is still in break in, but by 50ish mph on the side road today on my COOOOOLD 5 min ride and that lil engine was SCREAMING! MUST install a 46T or maybe even a 42T for highway speeds. LOTS of power at 50MPH though. Almost instant throttle response. LOL |
With that sprocket ratio, it can probably climb a telephone pole. ;)
|
That is the way alot of them came. I suggest getting a 44-46T sprocket.

I found that I did not gain much going smaller than 45. I tried a 42T and almost felt like I lost more top end. 44-46 will get you into a 55mph cruise speed.
|
That's if you're on the leaner side. If you're north of 200lbs, you might need an ever lower ratio, like a 48 tooth.
|
I am definitely on the leaner side. I am 5' 10" and just last night
before stepping into the shower I weighed myself in my "birthday suit" on the new digital scales my wife bought and was a porky 163 LBS / 74 Kg. Once I loose this beer belly I have been working on getting rid of I can hopefully be back in my 32-30 pants and will be back at 155ish lbs. ;) Since having a mostly desk job the past 10 years, my muscle tone has went to he!! Be nice to get that back again. :) |
