Loctite tape.

I don't know how long it's been out, but seems to be a great thing for the garage tool box as well as carrying on the bike.

This does seem like a good idea. I'm going to have to pick some up. Thanks!

Interesting.

I wonder if it an expiration date?

Teflon tape

This Loctite tape reminds me of using Teflon plumbers tape.
Same ease of use?
Hopefully it's easy to unbolt, unscrew, when you want to remove a fastener.

locktight

to remove stuff that you used locktight on .. just warm it up.. returns the locktight to a liquid and lets you unlocktight

That does look interesting and less mess. Would only be practical on larger fasteners.

"Typical Applications: Valve cover bolts, water pump bolts, oil pan bolts, drive shaft bolts, rocker arm adjustment nuts, carburetor studs."

Should add--"entire Chinese motorcycles" ;)

:) :) :) :)

as an fyi, loctite also offers thier 242 "blue" threadlock in gluestick form... i carry this on my john deere service truck and works just as good as the tape and the liquid.... but no mess... the tape i found a bit of a pain...think plumbers teflon tape...
