Has anyone dealt with this dealer. I'm about to buy one of the DB-07a's and wanted to know the good, bad, and ugly before I move forward. One plus, I was getting a quote from one dealer and told him about Lintopowersports and he said he wouldn't be able to beat their price and that I was in good hands if I went through them. So, anybody got anything else for me to go on. Jason |
I can't help you any with the dealer. But if I was to buy another I think I would spend a little more and go with the 250cc 6 speed tranny. My opinion of course.

You got that right! I think a 250 with a 6-speed would be the cat's meow. I can remember riding a late '70s Yamaha 125 enduro with a 6-speed. That thing would keep up with traffic out on the 55 mph highway. Somany of these smaller 5-speeds leave you wishing for an extra gear. Someone had posted a link somewhere on this site that led to another 250 6-speed dual sport that looked like a GY-5, but I can't find it now. The dealer, if I remember right, was somewhere in Canada, and the prices were high, but they did only want about $150 more for the 250 6-speed which would be money well spent. I would want to make sure the bike was DOT/EPA approved before ordering, however.

The DB-24 isn't streetable stock. It looks like they "de-streeted" it, although they left on the mirrors. TANK has a non-street 250 as well.
