That has to be a big improvement, but why 2 cuts instead of one center cut and then reweld?

Is that just in the bigger area or does it extend into the smaller diameter pipe I think this will be the route I go. Is the muffler end removable or is it welded in? This would be way cheaper then buying the whole system. Just replace the muffler and cut out that shit.
