I'm not sure about which specific ATV's, but several ATV's motorcycles and three-wheeled trucks around the world use that engine, which is copied from the CG125 that you have in the UK.

got the cg125 starter gear and it still won't fit :doh: feel like its getting the better of me :shrug:

Ok, let's back up.

What was the tooth count of the original starter? What was the tooth count of the original gear?

9 tooth starter motor with 16 small cog and 62 large cog

I mean 18 tooth small cog

I tried to find it on TB, but it's not working right now. Where did you find it in the US? Can you show us a link?

Click on "CG125-9 gear motor + large teeth", and you'll see that the price is 46CNY. Google says that translates to 4.84GBP. Cheap.

BTW, I think that's the starter and the gear.
