BD125-10 No Power After New Battery

I just finished charging the new battery, checking the voltage, and putting everything else back together on the bike and there is no power getting to the speedometer cluster at all. I checked the battery again and it is at 13.005 vdc.

What are the things to check in order so I can maybe avoid disassembling it all again?

For background, it ran fine 2 years ago, then I took it apart, swapped a damaged gas tank, installed a new carb and exhaust, installed lowering kit. And then it sat for close to 2 years.

I would check if the fuse is blown. If not, being that it sat for 2 years i would go through all the connectors and clean with a contact cleaner then put so dielectric grease on them. Could be just a corroded connector.

And don't forget to check all of the grounds, and make sure that everything is attached to the frame tightly so there are good solid ground connections.

Is EVERYTHING dead, or do some things work and not others?

Everything is dead, no starter/ignition, no lights, no dash, no horn, no blinkers. Nothing. But the battery is charged and hooked up.

Where is the 5a fuse located?

Trying to upload pictures but God this site sucks for that. I took the front fairing off and there were sets of wires unplugged. Two singles, a yellow and a grey, not from the same bunch. And then a brown and green wire from the same "bunch". Here's an imgur link since I can't get any photos to attach or upload https://imgur.com/gallery/gNZWwyU

I'm just kind of lost on what specifically to check. Like with my multimeter in hand where am I specifically checking? How many points roughly? Main culprits?

From what you describe, everything dead, first thing I'd check is the battery ground connection to the frame. Not just the connection to the battery itself. There could be corrosion at the frame, preventing a good ground. Get the frame shiny, reinstall, and cover the install point with something that prevents air from getting to it, like grease or vaseline or something.

Second would be the main fuse. It should be fairly near the battery, I would think. Good luck.
