Add a headlight to Hawk 150

My grandson has a Hawk 150 and would like a headlight on it. I don't want to go battery powered if I can avoid it. I am hopeful someone might know if the stock stator has sufficient power for a headlight? (I suspect not!) And if not, any idea where I can but a stator that will fit and will provide the necessary power? Thanks!!

The stator might have some unused wires that are there specifically for adding a headlight. First, look for those.

Google told me how to do it 6,670,000 ways, complete with an endless supply of you tube instructions.

Most have a 12V AC winding that you can power the headlight off if it is an old fashioned filament type. If it is an LED type you need to pick up a regulator off an electric start and wire it in to get DC 12V - just look for a wiring diagram for a bike with light and you should be able to figure it out. If you are really stuck I should have some notes here somewhere, but they will be hand drawn.
