https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...EE?usp=sharing took a Sunday ride to San patricio county texas. This is across the bay from corpus christi texas . home to part of the texas wind power phenomenon . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papalote_Creek_Wind_Farm https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/Gk...=w1920-h944-rw 196 wind turbines that can produce 380 megawatts of power, enough to serve approximately 114,000 homes. 109 Vestas 1.65 megawatt , and 87 Siemens 2.3 megawatt . these are badass! ironically, i cut my ride short due to nagging south east winds. so had to stop at odem texas and grab some shrimp and oysters at the railroad seafood. enjoy |
Thanks for the pics; I'm quite envious of the shrimp and oysters pic.
I noticed in the pic outside of the gas station that you're paying $1.85. Just across the border in WA State, I'm paying nearly $3.00 per gallon, and I'm paying over $4.00 per gallon on the Canadian side. Sucks. |

Sometimes you just have to order the fried . That is a super light batter on the shrimp, reminds me of a place in corpus christi when I was a kid that used crushed French bread crumbs as the batter. Utterly delicious. That plate was a pricy $21 dollars so don't go there very often but so good. One of these days I will take the ferry to Padre island and show you all the beach . With another great seafood place i can take pictures of my food:lmao: |
