RC3 wheels
Does anyone know if the sharp tubeless 17" wheels from the RC3 will fit our RX3's? While they are off it would be easy to have them powdercoated, and for both wheels for about 360 bucks it would just make sense. Not to mention the weight loss.

E-mail CSC and ask them, would be my thought.
Dropping down to 17" on your front will seriously alter the bike's handling, maybe good, maybe not good. |
Owning a basic Chinese enduro that came stock with 17/17 (TMEC 200cc Enduro) I love the size of the wheels. I never take the bike offroad, and use to commute 33 miles a day for over 10k miles on it (it is sitting now, kind of in parts). There are/were other stock 'motard' enduros, with the 17/17 setup out there.
That being said, not sure if the RX3 is set up like a dirt bike vs. something else. My best bet would be to see if Joe Berk is willing to try it if he has a used RC3 sitting around that he could borrow the wheels from to throw on a RX3. My initial 'gut' tells me that it would be a fantastic setup, but not being a bike expert by any means urges caution if the RX3 is significantly different than what most enduros are: dirt bikes. |
The guys at CSC say that the wheels are NOT interchangeable. Crap. I want mag wheels, and tubeless tires.>:(

Can't help with the mag wheels but Danimal on the ADVRider forum has sent RX3 hubs to Woody's Wheel Works and they are setting up a 17 and 19 wheel for him in tubeless. Woody's is pretty famous in the ADV market for their wheel. Great warranty and service. Pricey though!

zongshen does make them for a couple of countries specs.

Interesting ron...you would think csc would provide these as an option. I'm sure it will eventually be addressed. After all, young company (2015 with these bikes).

Maybe they haven't because the rear is 15" rather than what was spec'd in the US with a 17????????????

Those look like pretty good size wheels on ron's post, would you agree?? |
