Did someone you know buy a CB because you did?

After my son saw my Hawk, he bought one. Then when his uncle saw his, he bought one. Then three guys his uncle works with each bought one.

A friend of mine bought a non branded CB first. I rode it and did a little research then bought a Lifan GY5. 3 other friends rode mine and bought Lifans. Later on a couple more friends bought them for a total of 7.

I had been looking for a small engined cheap bike when my buddy got his Pitster Pro and let me ride it. I liked it enough that I started doing a little research and discovered the Hawk and all of its good but realistic reviews, and that the price was cheaper than the money I saved up for a bike that I could also buy all of the upgrades. So I pulled the trigger.

Fast forward a couple of months and the few friends I let ride it are now looking to get one or heavily considering it. One friend offered to buy mine for almost everything I have into it because I expressed interest in the lxr250f. People are always skeptical of it until they ride it, even when you tell them about common issues. For the price they are hard to beat.

My "China product hating" neighbor. He's been having his old 914 rebuilt and told the mechanic "NO CHINESE JUNK PARTS! I want all German parts!"...which made the project take almost a year longer even though the China parts were readily available.

Long story short, he's now the proud owner of a TT250 after riding Mrs. 2LZ....and has completely changed his tune.
