Konker dirt bikes
 

Hi all,

I was having a tube replaced for my brand new Yamoto 150GY and ended up at a local motorcyle repair shop/dealer called Toad's....anybody in the Maritimes will have heard of them before. Anyway, when I walked into their service bay they had a brand new Konker 150GY. Basically the same bike as my own but BETTER! All I can say is wow! This bike was obviously put together alot better....better shocks...better foot pegs...better kick start etc. etc. Also about $700.00 more than I paid for my bike.

Good news is that everything is completely interchangeable with my bike and they have no problem servicing them! The msrp for the Konker 150GY is $2099.00CDN but I'm pretty sure they'd wheel and deal a bit....probably throw in a helmet or something like that...maybe more.

I just feel so much more confident knowing that I can get parts and service locally once my 6 month warranty is up.

They just released a 250cc version.

Still a pushrod engine but the frame seems much better than the GY's, remote shock reservoir, etc...
