The more I read 5000 miles at 8000 rpm, the more I want one of these!
Having a blast reading this book, and I'm feeling a lusty urge to own an RX3...

CC, it's a fun read. After I finished the book I ordered my bike, thinking that I could take a chance for this price in spite of all the glowing prose. After all, Joe has every reason to be biased. After owning my RX3 for two years I can say that Joe is just telling it like it is. The little Zong really will maintain a steady 8K rpm for hour after hour. The quality is generally very high. Things don't break. Yes, parts of the bike are built down to a price (shock, chain, battery) and I think CSC is having Zong upgrade on the assembly line. The '18 comes with ABS and a 19" front wheel, both a plus in my mind.

Yeah, it's inching up in price too. Wanting to get one sooner rather than later, but I *just* purchased a new motorcycle in November 2017, so it's rather hard to justify the purchase when I still have a loan and a brand new bike to ride. But... I want one.

Borrowing for a second toy doesn't make much sense. I'd wait too.

CC, waiting would be best. If CSC stays true to form, they will have a sale at every major holiday with either free shipping or reduced pricing on the bikes. I bought mine in August 2017 and if I had waited till September I would have saved $400. I still love the bike though.

That's good to know, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks!

I'd wait too, but I also know the "drool factor" all too well.
I don't regret for one second buying both of our RX3's. When Mrs. 2LZ and I are playing cat and mouse on our twisty back roads, enjoying a nice Sunday morning....they're worth every penny. As rd1959 says, CSC will undoubtedly have their normal sales. Take the dive then! |
