BEST DEAL on a 2017 CSC RXR (RX3 Sport version)

I haven't seen a better offering price on a near new 2017 CSC RXR, unless it fell off the delivery truck and was run over by the following truck!!!!!! :hmm:

JerryHawk250 07-20-2017 08:18 AM

That's one hell of a deal. Someone is going to make a sweet deal.

BlackBike 07-20-2017 11:44 AM

I can't stand it, have to ask. Didn't you just pick this up a few weeks ago? Like Nancy Kerrigan asked, why? Why? Why? (FS).

Your right , this price is worth a few tanks of gas for round trip purchase.

Can you hear me culcune? https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Yuma...c2ceef0f46!3e0

BlackBike, you're correct!

Thanks for asking. You are correct, I did just pick the bike up a few weeks ago.
It was a surprise for my wife, as she said she wanted to ride again and be in control. After a couple of laps around the neighborhood and a couple lapses of control, she decided here riding/piloting days are over and she's resigned to being a passenger.
So she's putting it up for sale.
You're right, someone will be getting a great deal on a nice bike. :yay:

Selling Price Too Low????

Maybe my listed selling price is too low! And potential buyers are worried about purchasing a too low priced bike. Not to worry! There are no defects, leaks, missing parts, accident damages or cosmetic damages to this bike. And there is 22 months of factory warranty remaining.
Maybe I should post the bike on eBay to connect to a larger population audience of potential buyers?
Anyway I'll wait a few more days and see what occurs. :hi:

If it was close by I would be all over it but I checked on shipping and it then is no longer a deal.

1cylinderwonder 07-23-2017 11:37 PM

goat67,
How much was the shipping charges from California to your address? And did the shipping involve packing the bike in a crate for shipping, or just picking it up in a truck or trailer without special packing/crating?
I'm just curious as to what's available and the prices involved. It could help in future pricing and selling. I've never ahipped a bike long distance before.
Thanks,
1CW

I went to R&L web site. No Packing just the shipping cost. The pallet and crating would be extra it was around 1000.00
With lift gate service and residential at both ends.

Man 1CW, if I didn't already have two RX3's, I'd be all over this. That's a great deal.

Too bad she no longer wants to pilot....but in reality, if someone doesn't WANT to be on the front, they shouldn't be. I saw too many of my old buddies try to get their wives/girlfriends to ride their own and it usually ended up in disaster because they didn't have either the the desire, talent, experience or confidence and much preferred to be on the back. Good thing she decided now and you should commend yourself for buying the bike, trying it and then accepting her decision. A good wife is much harder to find than a good bike. Just ask my X's. ;-)

I had a Moto Guzzi V-1000 Convert and a few bike parts shipped most of the way cross country for under $500, door to door residential service. I shipped my Ducati 999s to Main, door to door and I believe it was also under $500 but the buyer set it up. I did the Moto Guzzi through a site where people bid for moving stuff, I think it was U-ship but not sure, and the driver told me that if the seller hadn't lived in the middle of nowhere it woulda been cheaper. The driver was great and took extra good care of the bike. The seller had attached the Windjammer fairing haphazardly and it came loose on the road, the driver removed it, wrapped it in a moving blanket, and put it in his truck.

On the flipside I had a truck & boat moved from So. Fl. to me in So. Cal. and they did a bunch of damage and tried to get out of it. It was over $4k COD and they got nothing which evened out for the damages. NEVER sign a bill of lading as 'ok' without noting damages if there are any. He refused to allow damage notations and loaded it back up stating it was going to go to storage but wouldn't tell me where. Luckily he left the trailer hitched to the truck and I had a spare key so I drove it off his rig and into my driveway; boy was he shocked.
