So I'm thinking about selling My Hawk. What would you guys think it's worth with all the work I have done to it? She's been a very reliable bike and been a fun bike to tinker around on. I really don't need two Dualsport bikes though most of us think you never have too many bikes. :lmao: Besides, i have to make room just incase I decide to get another bikes. :hehe: I would sell it will everything in the picture plus some extra tires, Carb, sprockets and misc. parts and pieces. Most of the mods are listed in my sig. The bike has a little under 9000 miles on it. Has brand new Kenda 760 Trailmasters. It does need a new battery which i will replace. What do you think??? $$$$$ Maybe i should auction it off? :hehe:

Very cool, GLWS!

Extra mojo for it being Jerry's bike.....

I'll start the bidding at 3 bucks. :)

6 year old china bike with 9k miles. typically I would say 7-800, but it's obviously clean and well maintained. I'm curious to hear what others think.

With todays market and some of those CL ads i read you will need to add three zeros behind the 3. :lmao:

I'll even throw in a real imitation gold plaque engraved with "Hawk 250 Owned by JerryHawk250 as seen on YouTube". :lmao: That should increase the value at least 5X. :hehe:

The sheer novelty of it knowing there will never be another hawk like it! Somebody is going to get a one of a kind bike that’s already had the work done to it. I might buy it just for the plaque! :lmao:

tknj99 07-15-2022 03:30 PM

Maybe add a build number to that plaque as i'm certain you're one of the early adopters here

1800 to 2400, i would think. Very nice bike . And being Jerrys bike would add more to the price, what do you think?

JerryHawk250 07-19-2022 09:08 AM

Since nobody is interested in the Hawk here, it leave me no other option but to throw myself to the FB Marketplace wolves. :lmao: I hate all the tire kickers, low ballers and no shows. That alone will add $300-400 to the price just for the aggravation. lol I don't have to sell it but at the same time I don't need two Dual Sport bikes.

Sport Rider 07-19-2022 09:21 AM

have you decided what you're gonna ask for it?

If I go by what the local market is asking for ragged out Hawks, I should be asking about $3000. :lmao: I'll ask $1500 because I know I'll get beat down. Everything has a price. I'll leave that up to negotiating, ;)

Now that it's warming up I really need to get off my butt and get her out the shed to make room for another bike.

Sport Rider 03-24-2023 09:08 AM

did you decide on 3000? :)

I'd really like to have it, but the wife would probably scalp me. I've been starting do to a bit of overlanding with my truck. I'd really like to have a bike to do that. The problem I have is getting TO those areas which are about 2 hours away (at least) and would be far longer on a hawk keeping speeds (and RPMs) down. I've been looking at some trailer hitch haulers though, which would be convenient for taking it there, unloading, and then enjoying some riding.

I'm asking $1500 but everything is negotiable. ;)
