The new BMW boxers are A/C-L/C hybrids, but the heads are L/C as that's where the heat is. :idea:

Rotax aviation engines are the same. L/C heads A/C cylinders.

The Chinese 'engineers' puzzle me. I shy away from products engineered by the Chinese and prefer accurate clones. They are better copiers than innovators in this arena. :wink:

X2. ;) I only trust the Chinese to make a faithful copy of a Japanese engine. I become skeptical whenever the Chinese start to innovate, especially with hybrid engines! 8O
