I found an aluminum intake that fits my Lifan X-Pect!!!
5 Attachment(s)
I found all the parts on Amazon and I didn't have to modify any of the exterior panels. I did have to use an oversized Spectre Pre-Filter to cover the intake and provide a double layer of Pre-Filter to zip-tie around the Crankcase Vent. Though it's good for keeping moisture out and keeping the K&N Filter clean. The factory airbox still supports all the attached modules and acts as a rear fender and rear shock guard. A few careful minutes with an oscillating saw and a sanding dremel and I was able give the intake filter a good bit of splash protection and keep the pre-filter over both the intake and the crankcase vent. I'll upload all the pics including part numbers by replying to this post.

The exterior panels fit back over it comfortably and the crankcase vent has a double layed pre-screen cover zip-tied around it too!!! :D

The parts list and they're all on Amazon.
3 Attachment(s)
(1) Chrome Intake
(2) K&N Filter (3) Spectre Pre-Filter (4) Extended Silicone Intake Coupler to move the intake past the rear shock cover portion of the airbox. All these come together beautifully to protect the intake and the crankcase much better than a paper filter. :D |
Nice, it sits in there quite well too. I would almost bet if you had enough gumption you could modify it enough to seal off the airbox as well.

Super clean. I like it!

Great work, and thanks for including the links to the parts!

Is there anyway to program these lifan ecus so they don't run lean when you modify them?
