Clutch Actuator Arm

The clutch on my KPX 250 seems to fully disengage when I pull the clutch lever in all the way and doesn't start to re engage until releasing the clutch after 1/4 inch or so, which seems correct. Shifting in the upper gears up and down is usually smooth but sometimes when I'm downshifting all the way down to first gear while stilling holding the clutch in all the way, its seems to "clunk" into gear sometimes and I'm not sure if this is normal of if the clutch needs some adjustment. There is no play in cable to make it any looser and I have not make any adjustments in the 1650 miles I've had the bike.

Secondly, how do I know the cable at the actuator arm is adjusted correctly? (Its still set to how it came from the factory).

On the hand lever side freeplay is usually 2-4mm. A nickel is 1.95mm or close enough to 2 to use to adjust the lever slack gap. If you cannot fit a nickel in its too tight, if you can fit two nickels in and its still got slack it is too loose. Video covers the clutch arm side.

Just so I'm understanding correctly, there shouldn't be anymore than 4mm of actuator play before the arm can't be pulled forward any further? Just want to be sure since that is not much movement.

I figured it out, now I see how easy they made it sound to adjust.
