Yamoto GY200 Parts
Hello fellow ChinaRiders! I need help finding parts for a mid-2000's GY200. I am in need of a 40" speedometer cable, Chain guard and I would like to find a 42-46 tooth rear sprocket for it. I have found all of these parts on the net but the main supplier is out of the UK and won't ship to the US. Does anyone know of a US supplier for these parts? Does anyone have any of these parts they are willing to let go? Thanks in advance for any help.

Here is a pic of the bike.

Not sure about the speedo cable, perhaps give VMC parts a call? As for the sprocket, we'd need a close-up of the hub/sprocket to tell you much. That's a sweet bike though, the colors evoke the 90s to me, it's almost accidentally retro. Close-ups of both sides of the engine light be useful, too.

It has a 428-56T rear sprocket and a 17T front. I want to put a 42-46 rear to get more hwy speed out of it.

Here is the rear end.

rear sprocket looks to be like a TT250/Hawk/TBR7.
CG engine like most cheap china bikes outside of China. The bike is an older model for China and stuff is obtainable with a load of searching and or a little DIY. |
Measure it and compare to the JTF dimensions, I have one that I think is supposed to use a KE100 sprocket, it looks kinda similar to yours, and was a cush hub like yours.

Looks the same as my 07 Lifan which uses the JTR269.

If it doesn't turn out to be that one, try a JTR802:

It worked!
The JTR269 worked! I put the 42T sprocket on it and I hit 62mph on the Hwy. She was tac'd out at 9K rpm. I was hoping to get around 60 mph so I am happy with it. I did order a 18T front and am going to try to get those speeds with a little lower rpm.
I found a website that will ship to the U.S.A. and it is china-parts-.co.uk |
Chain
I had to modify my chain to work with the 269 so I am going to order a new one. I will have to research which one I need but I believe it is a 108 pin (54 link) 428. Any input on this?

It is at least a 108 link chain, not 54. If you try to get a chain that short, you'll have problems. You should just get like a 120 link chain and a chain breaker, that way you're definitely good!
