I was looking into switching colors and so forth. And 90$ is kinda a lot is there a cheaper way to go?

Re paint them yourself. Krylon Fusion works good for the plastics on my bike even better with a clear coat. I just bought a new set of plastics and had to re paint them (black). Iam going to paint the old now repaired plastics orange. Ill have both a black bike and an orange bike two bikes in one. lol

I don't mind painting them myself, but where do I pay for the plastics to be dirt cheap?

That is cheap. Peice together oem plastics for a japanese bike and you see why you can have a totaled out bike just because of them. Lol

If your bike is the model with the straight cossmember down the center of the fuel tank, with a little modding you can get KTM platics and gas tank to fit. Thats what i did with mine, it made the bike have a more sleek look and easier to manuver through trails and not as bulky. I will post a pic of it in a bit, i bought a KTM plastic kit and gas tank off ebay for less than $80 CAD.
